This office is governed by the Kansas Open Records Act (KORA). Almost all records in the Register of Deeds office are required by law to be open to public inspection during regular business hours. The exceptions are the Kansas Real Estate Sales Validation Questionnaires and Military Discharge records, which are open to authorized persons only.
We have our records digitized and are available for inspection on 2 public kiosks that can be used during hours of operation.
