Noxious weeds known to be present in Clark County are as Follows (You may click on the weed name to see a picture):

  • Bull Thistle (a county option noxious weed)
  • Musk Thistle
  • Burr Ragweed
  • Field Bindweed
  • Sericea Lespedesia

The County Weed Director is always available to check potential noxious weed sites or to provide specific information on control.

Clark County cost shares on control of noxious weeds, covering 25% of the cost of the chemical if purchased from the Noxious Weed Department. For information on what chemicals are covered for which noxious weeds, please contact the County Weed Director.

Uncontrolled noxious weeds reduce the production of both farm ground an pasture land, while at the same time increasing the cost of production.
